Welcome to the world of Yoodoo - your brand new shiny toy, to help you get things done.

I know what you're thinking, "Great, another app to make me feel guilty about procrastinating." Fear not! Our aim isn't to remind you of the 10,000 things you should be doing. Instead, we want to help you tackle things one step at a time, but now with style and simplicity.

Now, you've probably downloaded a dozen of app's like these, with hopes of transforming into that super-organized person who somehow has their life together. Well, brace yourself; this one might just do the trick. Or not. Let’s find out.

Now as the title suggests, your success is determined by your willingness to follow Yoodoo's 3-Step Time-block System.

Now luckily for you it's frighteningly easy to follow; and for us to explain.

By following these exact steps, you'll see a boost in your productivity, possibly by the end of the day, and if not, definitely by the end of the week. It's that straightforward.

Ok, so here it is:

Step 1: Brain-dump your tasks

First, let's list all the things you've been avoiding: that ever-growing, soul-crushing to-do list. We recommend doing a brain-dump of the top 5 things you want to tackle. We wouldn't want your brain to explode too soon.

Step 2: Schedule those time-blocks

Got that list? Nice. Now, let's actually schedule these tasks. Drop them onto your timeline, and voila! Your day is organized, at least for now. At this point, you can link your Gmail or Apple calendars to view tasks from them as well. Nice.

Step 3: Do The Thing.

Alright, once you've scheduled everything, pick the first task. Your current task will always be highlighted. Start on it. If you need to stay focused, use a timer. There's one in the app for your convenience. If you complete the task, tick it off. If you don't, simply leave it be.

NOW HERE'S THE MAGIC

At the end of the day, Yoodoo automatically asks if you want to reschedule any incomplete tasks for the following day. Confirm the tasks you want to tackle and ignore the ones you don't. Any tasks you ignore will stay on your to-do list for future consideration. This ensures that no task is overlooked, helping you stay on track and remember every detail.

That is literally it! Simple. If you follow this system I guarantee you’ll see results by the end of the week, if not today.

Bonus round:

For those that want to go the extra mile, use Yoodoo's habits page to make planning 10x faster with these 3 tricks.

1. Repeating tasks:

Set up repeating tasks such as 'Lunch at 1pm' every day (not that you'd actually forget) or 'go for a run at 8am' every other day (aim high, folks). The great thing is you can also monitor these repeating tasks. It's useful if you want to track how many you've completed—or 'forgotten'—so you can steadily increase those numbers to establish a consistent habit. Additionally, you can embed subtasks and checklists within these primary tasks. If you love having a daily checklist to tick off, then this feature is tailored for you.

2. Favourite tasks:

This one's handy for quickly inserting your frequently performed tasks into your schedule. Tasks like '15 min break', 'take a nap', or 'walk the dog', for example. It provides a swift method to structure your day.

3. Daily templates:

There's another quick method to plan your day: create multiple templates such as 'work-day' and 'morning-routine' that you can apply to any day instantly.

There you have it, you're fully equipped to face life with time block planning on Yoodoo. Remember, being productive isn't about overloading your day with tasks, but rather maximizing the value of every moment. Whether that moment is devoted to a much-needed nap or a crucial task, it's all about balance. Now, step out with confidence and give life your best shot! Or at least, give it a decent try.
