App Blocking

The App Blocker is one of Yoodoo’s most powerful features — especially if you’re someone who can’t help but scroll, swipe, and suddenly fall into a TikTok vortex during your focus time 😅


It lets you block distracting apps on your device while you’re working through your schedule — so your brain stays where it should: on the task in front of you.


🔐 How to Enable App Blocking


  1. Tap the App Blocker icon — it’s at the top of any main page

  2. Follow the instructions to grant permissions

    • On Android, Yoodoo needs “Accessibility” access so it can override other apps

    • It may sound scary ("control of your phone") but don’t worry — Yoodoo only uses this to close blocked apps if you try to open them. Nothing more.
